KODAK T-MAX 400 Professional Film is a continuous-tone panchromatic black-and-white negative film especially useful for photographing dimly lighted subjects or fast action, for extending flash distance range, and for photographing subjects that require good depth of field and fast shutter speeds with maximum image quality for the film speed. It is also useful for scientific and biomedical work, especially when fluorescence photography is required. It has high speed (ISO 400/27° in most developers), very high sharpness, extremely fine grain, and high resolving power; it allows a high degree of enlargement.

It is also excellent for copying black-and-white photographs, for making black-and-white copies from color transparencies, and for photomicrography. KODAK Developer D-76 is the most commonly used Black & White film developer in existence. D-76 provides full emulsion speed and excellent shadow detail with normal contrast, and produces fine grain.
Promotes removal of fixer from films and fiber- base papers to shorten wash times and make washing at lower wash- water temperatures practical. Dilute 1 part stock solution to 4 parts water.
Produces several cold-brown hues with warm-tone papers. Higher dilutions (1:20 and 1:40), provide slightly cooler tones and enhanced maximum density.
Color Plus 200 is a medium-speed, daylight-balanced film. It replaces Kodak Gold 200.
